Back home in Cuba, Israel Gomez Estrada dreamed of seeing the snow. Immigrating to rural Nebraska allowed him to discover it for the first time and "it was wonderful," he recalls. Now documented in the United States, he hopes to find work and build a new life for himself. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES
