In an interview with AFP in Juba, South Sudan, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugess (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi warns of the increasing difficulty in assisting people inside neighboring Sudan, amidst a war that has raged since April 2023. "We are asking all the parties to give access to humanitarians because our presence there is insufficient," he says.
