Description
Four members of the wealthy Hinduja family, one of the most powerful in India and the UK, have been acquitted of human trafficking by a Swiss court but sentenced to long prison terms for the exploitation of their Indian domestic workers. The family's head, Prakash Hinduja (78), and his wife Kamal (75) were sentenced to four and a half years in prison, while their son Ajay (56) and daughter-in-law Namrata (50) received four-year sentences. "This is, I would say, a moral judgement, not a legal one" says Robert Assael, one the family's lawyers. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
