File images of Dominique Boutonnat, as the chairman of France's National Centre for Cinema (CNC) was sentenced on Friday to three years in prison, including two years suspended, for sexually assaulting his godson in August 2020. In a statement released immediately after the ruling, Boutonnat announced he was stepping down from his role, which includes overseeing measures to curb sexual violence in the industry.
