The international experimental nuclear fusion reactor Iter, the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, which aims to revolutionise energy production, will be delayed by several years and will cost several billion euros more, according to its managing director Pietro Barabaschi. "We plan now that we will need about €5 billion more, which is a hell of a lot of money," he told AFP in an interview.
