The Severn Bridge spans the River Severn and Wye between Aust, South Gloucestershire in England, and Chepstow in South East Wales via Beachley in Gloucestershire, which is a peninsula between the two rivers. It was the first bridge to span the waterway and a faster connection between the South West and Wales in the UK
