"We want to be at the forefront of the technological revolution," says President Nayib Bukele at the inauguration of El Salvador's first commercial data protection and backup center, located in a large technology park under construction in Ciudad Arce, some 35 km west of San Salvador.
Hoping to become a "hub" for technology innovation in the region, it is open to companies wishing to set up operations in this Central American country and is expected to create 4,000 direct jobs. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
