Gazans face a growing risk of infectious diseases as sewage flows between tents and sanitation infrastructure crumbles across the besieged Palestinian territory. "Several days ago, the ministry of health, in coordination with UNICEF, discovered a very dangerous disease after examining wastewater in the Gaza Strip," warns Khalil Al-Dakran, a spokesman for the Hamas-run health ministry.
