Ukrainian farmers have started harvesting crops during a record heat wave that hit Ukraine in early July. But while sunflowers and peas may see losses, farmers say wheat has not been adversely affected. In fact, Mykola Maliyenko says he is already selling wheat for twice as much as last year, though the price is still less than it was before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
