In Paris, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games just around the corner, hotels and trade unions are concerned with the lack of rooms booked by tourists. 'The city is absolutely empty', says Guillaume Rumiel, a manager of a hotel in the Marais district, in the historic centre of the capital. 'For the Olympic and Paralympic Games period, we're at 30-35% bookings, whereas I'm usually at full capacity, at around 90%", he adds. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
