Hundreds of women protest outside Chile's National Congress in Valparaiso to demand the resignation of Senator Javier Macaya after he defended his father, Eduardo Macaya, after he was convicted of sexually abusing children. The protest comes a day after Javier Macaya resigned as president of the conservative Independent Democratic Union (UDI) in the face of public outrage, but remains a senator. Chilean law does not allow members of Congress to resign.
