Description
"Due to the war, he doesn't have most of his medicines and didn't receive proper treatment," says doctor Fadia al-Haw seconds before lights went off due to power cuts at the Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza. Her patient is 6-year-old Mahmoud Rajab, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, a rare chronic disease that requires special food and medication. "Before the war, my son was coping with this disease to a certain extent," explains his father Ramadan Rajab, but since war erupted in Gaza "his condition deteriorated day by day until, as you can see, he ended up in intensive care".
