Description
"There have always been teams of researchers relaunching investigations to locate the crash site," of Antoine Saint-Exupery's plane in the Mediterranean in 1944, "it had become an almost mystical issue," tells Luc Vanrell, the diver-archaeologist who discovered the wreckage of the plane of the author of The Little Prince. "We know Antoine de Saint-Exupéry as a literary figure, we know Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in civil aviation, but much less about his commitment to his ideas and the fact that, today, he's a hero of the liberation of France, and it was high time we paid him these honors," he adds on the 80th anniversary of the death of the world's most translated French author.
