Heads in arms, tears in abundance, and people hugging each other overflow a park in Cucuta, a Colombian city on the border with Venezuela, as President Nicolas Maduro is re-elected for a third consecutive six-year term. "We can no longer expect anything other than to continue fighting away from our families," says a Venezuelan migrant who now sees her hopes of returning to her country vanishing before her eyes. "We wanted freedom," adds another migrant.
