Description
Locals clear up damage outside the mosque in Southport, north west England, after around 100 people believed to be supporters of the far-right English Defence League (EDL) rioted and targeted the building, injuring 39 police officers on Tuesday night. The violence broke out shortly after a vigil was held in the town centre for victims of a mass stabbing in which three children were killed. IMAGES
