The Polish man accused of punching Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen "does not remember everything", including "any details about beating anybody," says defence lawyer Henrik Karl Nielsen after the suspect appeared in the Copenhagen district court. The 39-year-old, who claims to have been under the influence of alcohol when meeting the prime minister, risks prison time and deportation if convicted, with a verdict expected when the trial wraps up on 7 August.
