"We actually want to celebrate this shared humanity," says director Thomas Jolly of the Olympic ceremonies, just two days before the closing ceremony. "It will be completely different from the opening ceremony because, as a director, I have a stadium, so there are entrances, there are lights, there is a set, there is a space to which all eyes are drawn.
