Description
Conservationist Paul Watson is the victim of "judicial harpooning", says one of his lawyers, François Zimeray who, speaking at a press conference in Copenhagen, says the case made against Watson by Japan "has nothing to do about facts," describing it instead as "a question of revenge from the Japanese legal system and Japanese authorities". The American-Canadian was arrested in July while his boat was docked in Nuuk, Greenland, since when he has been held in detention. Japan has requested Watson's extradition, accusing him of damaging to a whaling ship. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
