High up in the Kingdom of Lesotho, amidst drought-striken dry and brown mountains, lies southern Africa's only ski resort, Afriski. The slopes primarily made with artificial snow, attract visitors from far and wide, who revel in the unique experience."Having a ski slope in Africa it's incredible," says Helen from Ethiopia. Enthusiastic as the visitors may be, high running costs are threatening the future of this unique wintery oasis.
