Jimmy Brun, a spokesman for the Paris region public transport operator (RATP), says that the two employees who testify about two accidents in an article in Le Parisien are "in a dispute with the company" and that the links established between their "testimonies and the procedures carried out by RATP in terms of technical inspections" are "fallacious.". Some RATP drivers are accusing the RATP of forcing them to manipulate their buses in order to conceal warning signals prior to their six-monthly technical inspection and thus avoid having them immobilised.
