Description
A Chinese hospital ship sees hundreds of patients in South Africa’s Cape Town. Docked in the harbour, the ship Peace Ark, is part of a joint national and interdepartmental exercise for humanitarian medical service between People’s Republic of China and Republic of South Africa. The exercise is intended to strengthen military and diplomatic ties between the two countries. One patient who is using the service because it is cheaper than alternatives says it is "perfect timing."
