Description
The 81st Venice Film Festival opens on Wednesday with the second part of Tim Burton's black comedy ‘Beetlejuice’, an aperitif for a star-studded Hollywood competition. The Mostra, with 21 films in competition, closes on 7 September, and once again confirms itself as an ideal showcase for major US productions just a few months before the Oscar selection.
