"She was unable to attend because of facts that are public knowledge, such as a suicide attempt that led to a major psychological and psychiatric crisis and hospitalisation," says Mauricio Cardello, one of the lawyers representing the woman who accused French rugby players Hugo Auradou and Oscar Jegou of sexual abuse.
