Description
People in Germany's city of Erfurt react to the far-right Alternative for Germany's (AfD) victory, celebrating a landmark win in a regional vote in Thuringia. The anti-immigration party topped the polls for the first time ever in the former East German state with around 33 percent of the vote and was headed for a close second place in neighbouring Saxony. "My mood is very bad because I had hoped for a different result. I was expecting it to turn out like this, but in the end, it was still very shocking," says Laura Weidhase, who works in family assistance. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
