Another 35,000 Ukrainian children have signed up for school in Poland after Warsaw tightened the law to make their attendance mandatory, a senior minister says. And Warsaw is ready to take in a fresh influx of Ukrainians should more flee the conflict and the threat of the coming winter, Polish deputy education minister Joanna Mucha tells AFP. The country is home to hundreds of thousands of refugees from the conflict across the border, and some 134,000 Ukrainian children were already attending Polish schools before the summer holidays.
