The village of Etsaut, in the Aspe valley (Pyrénées-Atlantiques region), was badly hit by the flooding of the Gave d'Aspe after torrential rain fell on the region during the night of 6 to 7 September, causing the road on the RN134 to collapse and cutting off the road for more than fifty metres.
