Description
Emergency workers are racing to evacuate thousands of people from severe floods after Typoon Yagi swept through northern Vietnam, killing dozens of people. Communities along the swollen and fast-moving Red River, which flows through the capital Hanoi, are partially under water.
"This is a historic storm, the strongest since the one in 1971," local residen Dang Duc Thuc tells AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
