The world's top sauna masters waft their stuff as they give steamy performances at the 2024 Aufguss World Masters sauna pouring championships in Voorst, Netherlands. Competitors are judged on their control of steam, sauna temperature, the "wafting" skills and how their performance draws in the audience. "This is art, performing theatre in the sauna room," says Lasse Eriksen, Aufguss World Masters vice president, who describes the practice as "a celebration of sauna, being alive, coming together."
