Funeral prayers are held in Istanbul in absentia for US-Turkish activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, killed by Israeli forces while protesting in the West Bank. According to Ridvan Kaya, "Israel has once again shown the nature of its occupation in the West Bank, in all of our lands, with the murder of Aysenur." Her death sparked international condemnation.
