French officials warn that "large numbers" of migrants are still trying to cross the Channel from France to England, after eight migrants died as another overcrowded vessel capsized while trying to make the voyage. "The pressure is therefore very high all along the coast," says Jacques Billant, Prefect of the northeastern department of Pas-de-Calais.
