UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he was seeking to discuss how to deal with “unlawful migration” during a visit to Italy. "Here, there's been some quite dramatic reduction (in migrant arrival numbers) so I want to understand how that came about," Starmer says in Rome, while touring a national immigration coordination centre with Italy's interior minister, Matteo Piantedosi, ahead of meeting with his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni.
