Streets lay underwater in the Austrian towns of Maria Lansendorf and Achau after Storm Boris swept through central Europe, bringing heavy rain and severe flooding. Over the weekend, torrential rains hit parts of Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, in addition to Austria, knocking out electricity, damaging infrastructure and causing travel disruption.
