Description
Zimbabwe will target elephants in "hotspots" where there have been problems or where there is overpopulation in its planned cull of 200 of the mammals, says Tinashe Farawo, Head of Corporate Communications at the country's Parks and Wildlife Management Authority. The Southern African nation, which is facing an unprecented drought that has led to food shortages, announced the cull last Friday. "The impact has been felt more in communities because when animals do not have water, they move in search of water leading to them into communities," Farawo says. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
