Description
A slope of almost 50 degrees and a breathtaking view of the Rhone River. The harvest is starting in the steep vineyards of the Saint-Joseph appellation in Ardeche. "We practice what's called viticulture in extreme conditions. The Italians, being Italians call it heroic viticulture." explains Dominique Courbis, a winegrower who farms 35 hectares of vines, mainly on hillsides where harvesting is more difficult than elsewhere.
