"It's ordained by God," says Leah Rivas, a Catholic pilgrim to the shrine of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which on Thursday was recognised by the Vatican. "I'm very happy," says Marina Mino, another visitor to the shrine, which has seen a million visitors a year since 1981, when six young people reported seeing the Virgin Mary there.
