In Austria, according to the latest polls, the far-right Freedom Party (FPÖ) is credited with 26% of the vote. "The Freedom Party's chances of coming out on top on election day are far greater than Mr. Kickl's chances [head of the FPÖ] of actually winning the chancellorship," explains political scientist Thomas Hofer.
