Description
Taxi drivers organized a "molokoy" (snail in Creole) operation on the main road linking the south to the center of the island, in support of the demonstrators fighting against the high cost of living in Martinique, french overseas territory. At the same time, shopkeepers in Fort-de-France lowered the curtains on their businesses as a sign of support.
