Description
After 8 days driving thousands of kilometers in South Africa, from Secunda to Cape Town, thirteen solar cars built by teams from across the world cross the finish line of an event described by its organizer as the “the most extreme solar challenge in the world”. The event, Sasol Solar Challenge, is held every two years in South Africa. “There's a lot of things to do. Yeah. If you want to create a renewable future, we still have a lot of work to do but we believe in ourselves and that it's just, it's possible to do it”; says Arne Besteijns, the public relations officer for the winning Innoptus Solar.
