At Kibbutz Beeri, time seems to have stood still for almost a year following the Hamas attacks as traces of destruction, bullet holes and blood splatters remain visible on the walls of the burnt-out houses. Just four kilometres (two and a half miles) from Gaza, the Kibbutz was one of the worst-hit communities on October 7, second only to the Nova music festival for the number of victims. IMAGES
