Description
In Haifa, in northern Israel, residents are running their errands to "get home quickly, because they're scared", says Shaked Riel, a shopkeeper in a convenience store.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after a night of intense rocket fire from Lebanon that Israel has dealt "a series of blows on Hezbollah that it could have never imagined". Hezbollah has been exchanging fire with the Israeli army on an almost daily basis since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, claiming to be acting in support of its Palestinian ally Hamas.
