Description
"The difference between before October 7 and after October 7 is just like the difference between East and West. My life has turned 180 degrees and changed in every sense of the word," says Maha Wafi, a 43-year old Gazan paramedic who lives with her five children in a camp for displaced Gazans in central Khan Yunis after her house was destroyed during the war. She says her husband, Anis al-Astal, a 45-year old paramedic, was arrested on December 2nd, 2023 at the Netzarim checkpoint by the Israeli forces. And since then, Maha has no news of him.
