Description
After Nitsan Peeri sped away in her car when rockets fell on the festival grounds on October 7, she struggled with "loneliness, grief, loss, and nightmares". Today her hope is to "get her life back on track", "love, start a family, have children".
Elsewhere, despite the pain over the hostages still trapped in Gaza, Kalanit Sharon, the founder of the Pink Front collective that has opposed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government since 2020, says that they have to keep protesting "until this government will go". They wear pink outfits, wave pink flags and beat pink drums to stand out from the crowd and symbolise hopes for a brighter future. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
