Description
In Monte Verde and Concepcion in Bolivia, firefighters and locals are working to try to control fires which this year have destroyed more than 3.8 million hectares of forests and pastures. Locals say they are struggling with smoke, heat and lack of water while firefighters explain a lack of fuel caused a delay in their ability to battle the blazes. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
