Description
"We need the government's help," says one resident of the beachside city of Acapulco, volunteering to help others cross a bridge completely split in half by Hurricane John.
The death toll from Hurricane John, which made landfall twice on Mexico's Pacific coast, has now risen to 16, according to the government. John made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane before churning along the coast for several days and striking land again as a tropical storm. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
