Description
"This landslide has been there for four days now and it's starting to smell because we've got bodies buried there," says Luz Candelario in the seaside city of Acapulco, as residents plead for help after Hurricane John made two landfalls on Mexico's Pacific coast, leaving at least 16 dead and hundreds affected. "No help has been seen from this side. Some houses have been swept away," adds another resident from the San Agustin neighborhood. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
