The Tara Océan foundation has postponed the launch of its polar scientific base, which is due to sail the Arctic from 2026, until Friday, due to the weather. 'Unfortunately, we have a leak on Tara, so it can be repaired (...) with the weather conditions, the wind is coming, so we made the wise decision to postpone (the launch) until Friday', explains Loïc Vallette, project director of the Tara polar station.
