In Ukraine's frontline Donetsk region, where internet access and broadcast signal are scarce, local newspaper "Zoria" (Dawn) has become a vital source of information to most inhabitants of Lyman, a bombed-out eastern Ukrainian town just a dozen kilometres from Russian positions. "When it appeared in our city, the residents welcomed it very happily, very happily and with surprise," says Larysa Puchkova, deputy director of the Lyman Public Library, "it's very nice, it feels like a holiday."
