Description
Officials visit the Mausoleum of King Tangun in Pyongyang to mark Foundation Day, which commemorates the founding of the first Korean state in 2333 BC.
North Korea claims the site contains the remains of Tangun, the mythical founder of the first Korean kingdom. The mausoleum was constructed in the 1990s, and no independent verification or dating of the purported remains has been carried out. IMAGES
