Description
People in Mozambique's capital Maputo say they hope for a better future ahead of the Southern African nation's presidential and legislative elections on October 9. "Give us jobs, build more schools, because now I am suffering, we will get furniture for schools. I don’t have a fixed job, I want him to make our future better," says Paolo Cuna of ruling Frelimo party presidential candidate Daniel Chapo who he pledged to vote for. "49 years of independence and the country is still the same, so with this campaign I hope for a better life," says Carlos Joao, a market seller. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
