Description
As the conflict grows in Lebanon, expats living in West Africa-- from Ivory Coast to Nigeria, are glued to their screens, as they watch the worrying developments from thousands of miles away, concerned about family and friends caught in the crossfire. A feeling of “sadness and anger” for Senegal-based businessman Zoher Zeidan. “We find ourselves in a situation where we can lose our country overnight," he says. "We don't have any information on whether they're dead or alive,” says Ivory Coast-based Zara Mirza Branger, about loved ones back home. Others are mobilizing however they can to help. “No small amount is too small," says George Chaanine from Nigeria. "We're basically pulling together as a diaspora.” IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES N°36JH92P
